Things happen at Florida Realtors conference – and in 2009 a conversation began like this……
A simple connection between @FloridaSunSales (Debbie Kirkland), and the ladies at Florida Realtors who were running a live twitter feed at the Florida Realtors conference …Lisa Walker, Peggy Musial,.. Florida Realtor’s Staff. These ladies from the Communications Department at Florida Realtors get it about what Realtors are doing with technology in their businesses and top of mind, and the future thinking water-cooler talk involving Realtors across the Country. Lisa and Peggy helped me “explain” the concept to the staff of Florida Realtors in the big conference room of Florida Realtors HQ in Orlando as a mutually beneficial draw to both conference and to BarCamps. Then, it grew from there… Orlando, Networking, Technology,..Fun. 350 attendees in 2010, 450 in 2011, and over 600 in 2012!
